BASF launches Melyra® and Inveris® Gold to support higher yields and sustainable crop protection in India

  • Melyra® fungicide with AgCelence® benefits supports plant health and resistance management
  • Inveris® Gold insecticide provides broad spectrum protection against piercing and sucking pests while enhancing crop vigour

Mumbai, India, June 30, 2026 – BASF Agricultural Solutions today announced the launch of Melyra® Fungicide and Inveris® Gold Insecticide, two new crop protection solutions designed to help Indian farmers manage diseases and pests more effectively while improving crop productivity.  

Melyra is a next-generation, broad-spectrum fungicide powered by Revysol® Active, BASF’s novel isopropanol azole molecule, which supports effective disease control and resistance management. Co-formulated with pyraclostrobin, it delivers AgCelence® benefits that enhances plant vitality and crop performance. Melyra is suitable for crops including cotton, groundnut, soybean, chilli, and tomato.                     

Melyra, Inveris Gold and Frivon Launch 

 

Inveris Gold is formulated with dual actives to provide broad-spectrum control of piercing and sucking pests, including aphids, jassids, whiteflies, thrips, mites, and leaf miners. It is suitable for vegetable crops such as chilli, tomato, brinjal, cucumber, and okra. The formulation is designed to support integrated pest management programs, including considerations for beneficial insects.
